I have had this image in my mind for a while after being inspired by something on the web.I hadn't inteded for Ollie's hand to be in it but personally I think that it deepens the effect that I was going for.
Even the roughest of hands have a tender touch.
Setting it up.
I also had a one year shoot last week.It was our second attempt and I breathed a sigh of relief as the pictures uploaded.I am pleased with them this time and I hope that the mama is too.March is going to be exciting as I also have two newborns expected around the end of the month. Some props arrived this week and I am super excited to try them out.
I have decided that I won't be doing many sneak peeks though since it was not a nice feeling having my images stolen.Granted, not everyone would stoop that low but still...
Here's a pic for the rellies back home.Miss Annie is getting too big.
Ollie is no longer a toddler.
Life seems to be flying past at breakneck speed and I can't find the brakes!!
Until next time.

Annie loves Isabella so much and visa versa. It is so warming to my heart when I see Isabella in her role as big sister to the sister that she prayed for every night of my pregnancy.(yes she did, really!)
Oh boy did she dance a happy dance when Papa told her that it was a girl!!
The bond can only get stronger.
Our home is cozy, not too big,not too small, well there are times that I would like my own adjoining apartment with soundproof walls but I digress. Our home is just right.But......you saw that coming didn't you??
But,there is a bedroom issue.Issi has a bedroom that fits her,her style, her and her many 'little things',just and no room for swinging one of those freakishly small cats let alone a regular one.so,there is no room for Annie while she is in her crib and I wouldn't expose her to sharing with the boys with their early morning wake ups that give even the most seasoned rooster a run for it's money. So that leaves us.We have always co slept in one way or another. They boys, they had to be kicked out.The girls, not so much. They like to snuggle up but when it comes to sleeping, the do better in their own space. They sleep better and so do we.Faced with having Annie's crib in our room for say, hmmmm,at least another year, didn't faze me much.It was the thought of the clashing bedding that left me shaking at the knees.
I love my Ikea clover bedding but it didn't go with was crib bedding I had.I wasn't changing my bedding and I certainly wasn't handing over more $$$$ bedding.Waste of bloody money,I tell you.You buy the stuff, then scared to death by surveys on over stuffed bumpers, don't give the baby the quilt and a bloody bed skirt that doesn't even hang properly if you don't have the two million dollar crib that has the special end bits that let the skirt down without collapsing the whole crib that you and your hubby have spent two and a half sweat filled days figuring out how to put the bleedin' thing tog ther without the directions because someone (he says you,you say him....hmmmmwe are not getting anywhere!!) "misplaced" the directions!
I have lost direction again haven't I????
Anyway seeing as my beloved Ikea duvet was only $20,I figured out that I would just buy another one,cut it up,sew it together..
rip it out after I realized that I had sewn it upside down, sew it together again, talk to oneself over and over again as I am putting it on,praying that the ties align etc.
Scream in delight when it finally comes together!!
put it on the crib and put obliging baby in for pics.
She seems pretty happy in it right?
Maybe she will sleep though the night now she has a lovely crib to spend the whole night in.....
Yeah, maybe not.She still wound up in our bed at around 3am but hey...at least everything looks pulled together:0)
I'd be lying if I said that I didn't like those middle of the night snuggles. The time is so fleeting, she is nearly seven months, seven months people!!!!!!
It is March in two weeks.Arrgghhh, where is this year going already???

My first newborn session was last week and I had a lot of fun.
I tried out some ideas with a very patient baby and wonderful willing parents.
Look at these teeny toes!!
D & B,there are plenty more good ones I just need my four monsters to give me half an hour to finish your gallery:0)
I have been playing with actions this weekend alongside cooking all the yummy superbowl food.
Here's miss A on a wonderful sunny winter morning.
Until next time. x
In the first year of a babes life there are so many firsts. The coo,the smile, roll etc.It is such a wonderful journey for the baby and those who have the honor to be able to to share it with her.I just love the first year.My only wish is that when Annie first slept through the night she loved it as much as I did!!! I am still trying to convince her that it really was great and that she should try it again!
