A new journey.

New Jersey Newborn Photographer.Bergen County 

and surrounding areas.

After much prompting from many good friends and family,I have set out on a new venture.

Ponteuf Photography!

My first newborn session was last week and I had a lot of fun.

I tried out some ideas with a very patient baby and wonderful willing parents.

Look at these teeny toes!!

D & B,there are plenty more good ones I just need my four monsters to give me half an hour to finish your gallery:0)

I have been playing with actions this weekend alongside cooking all the yummy superbowl food.

What's for dinner in your house?

Tonight we had

:: Spinach,pear and pomegranate salad with blueberry dressing,yum!

Someone distracted me when I was deseeding and raided my stash

 

I have a suspect!

Yes that picture was taken today.A balmy 68 this afternoon!

Anyway,salad was followed by spaghetti and meatballs.

This meal comes with a promise of a whine free dinner.I am tempted to make it EVERY night!

 

As for my 29 days of giving.

It is going well.

Monday :: I purchased the top five items on my shopping list twice and popped the items in the food collection box .

Tuesday :: I gave an old lady tens minutes of my time to help her find the exact (and boy she knew exactly what she wanted!) batteries for her smoke detectors.All ten of them!She had forgotten her glasses and was having trouble.Ollie helped too by throwing in a few extra items in her cart :)

Wednesday :: I fed the meter of the car next to mine when I parked as it was expired and I spotted a traffic officer in the lot.Saved them a ticket:0) That felt great:0)

Something's been getting in the way of my blogging..

This is not the result of too many pies.....This is me finally realising that we really did have room in our hearts and home for just one more.

Another babe will be making it's way into our arms late July/early August time.I am ecstatic.

The thing is,even at only thirty three,this pregnancy has been so much harder than the other three.I was so sick at the beginning and I am constantly tired.I  just haven't had the energy to stay awake long enough to blog or sew.

BUT....The sun came out today and we were able to talk a nice brisk walk without bundling ourselves up like the Michelin man and when the sun comes out and we get out,my energy levels soar.So before I need my afternoon nap to the tune of Charlie and Lola,I figured that I would come on by and say hi.

Oh and for those of you giggling at my oh so sexy undies sticking out there,I couldn't care less,they are comfy and a comfy Mama is a hapy mama even if it is leopard print comfy ;0)

Alrighty,I had better not over do it!!!

Self portrait Tuesday.

So a while back I was toying with the idea of doing 365 on Flickr.Well I realized that I would probably end up sending myself insane if I added such an enormous task to my daily to-do list.But,I do enjoy playing with my camera and giving myself a little challenge every now and again so I came up with self portrait Tuesday to add a little "me" fun to my weekly tasks and hopefully because it is just once a week,it will stay fun.

The story to this one is sweet.Papa was home for the day and after working on the basement (bloody never ending project of his!!) he took the babes to the playground behind our house.It was a beautiful Autumnal day and I had the windows open to get a final airing through the house before we batten down the hatches to keep out the winter's chill.I got supper going and then dragged five loads of laundry up the stairs to fold (yawn,double yawn!!).Here I was, standing in my room folding the laundry,basking in the sunlight that is flooding the room,smelling the fall breeze and listening to my children's squeals of laughter and joy coming  through the open window from across the way.Yes folding laundry is mundane but I smiled to myself and realized.

Life is good.It really is.I feel so blessed.

Anyhoo,I turned and saw my shadow against the wall.With the sunlight streaming through the stained glass window it gave it a really cool effect.So I captured the moment to always remind myself of that calm five minutes of zen that I had.Because in this house,it is rarely calm and never zen,so now I have something to remind myself when I am *this close* to pulling my hair out.

It came out pretty well don't you think?
